Pupil Premium Strategy Statement 2023 - 2026Proud to Support Our Service Children and Their Families
At Riverside Special School, we are proud to support children from service families and recognise the valuable contribution they make to our school community. We understand that life in a military family can bring unique opportunities as well as challenges, including periods of separation, relocation, and transition.
Guided by the principles of the SCiP Alliance, we are committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every service child feels valued, understood, and able to thrive. We recognise that each child's experience is unique, and we work closely with families, professionals, and support networks to ensure that children receive the understanding and support they need throughout their educational journey.
Building strong relationships with service families is central to our approach. We believe that open communication, partnership, and a sense of belonging help children develop confidence, resilience, and positive wellbeing. Our staff are committed to understanding the experiences of service children and ensuring that their voices are heard and celebrated.
At Riverside Special School, we are dedicated to helping every child achieve their full potential, regardless of the challenges they may face. We are proud to stand alongside our service families and support them as valued members of our school community.
